Did you know?

Nearly 3 billion birds have been lost in North America since 1970. Roughly 25% of those were grassland birds.

State Conservation Partnerships

State-led partnerships and action groups are important hubs for information sharing and conservation action. These groups facilitate habitat conservation planning, professional networking, partnership building, and the collaborative development of projects and programs to achieve priority state, regional, and continental bird objectives. Each group is unique and reflects the conservation needs and expertise within each state – some partnerships focus on research and monitoring while others focus on specific habitat targets, such as wetland or grassland conservation.
