The NGPJV is dedicated to amplifying the scale and scope of on-the-ground conservation. We convene partners around shared values and catalyze action and innovation through our networks. We develop spatial planning tools and conservation targets to focus the right actions in the right places to slow or stabilize populations of declining grassland birds and maintain or increase populations of other priority birds. Our partnership also offers a suite of financial incentives for implementing habitat projects that benefit ranchers, local communities, and wildlife. We review and assess outcomes of conservation actions and adjust our approach based on new information.
We use a variety of tools, applications, and resources to deliver bird and habitat conservation across the Northern Great Plains
